Open Studios works with the Downtown Boulder Partnership and others to turn vacant commercial spaces into temporary pop up galleries where we can showcase some of the amazing art that is created right here in Boulder County. Because of the time sensitive nature of these vacancies, we keep a database of artists who are interested in showing their art in a pop up, so we have an army of artists ready to go as soon as such a vacancy occurs.

If you are interested in and available for more opportunities to show and sell your art, please register to be in our database, so we can alert you when these opportunities arise. In order for us to run a pop up gallery professionally and maximize benefits to the artists involved, these opportunities will require artists to pay a fee for participation. Fees will pay for gallery staging, credit card processing, staffing and some insurance. Depending on the available display options, we might also need participating artists to help supply display walls and/or pedestals, etc. Artists will be required to hang their own work and manage their displays for the duration. Artists will need to have an insurance policy naming Open Studios and Downtown Boulder Partnership as additionally insured.
