Painting and drawing from observation and life, I am always experimenting and learning. Drawing from pop culture, nature, literature, history, and anything that gets stuck in my head, I will express that as a painting or a sketch. In this way, I do not consider myself a particular genre of artist but rather an explorer who can paint.  My paintings explore the collision of the natural and the manufactured world. - where buildings, alleys, and vehicles intersect with their earthly counterparts. In my figurative work, I place emphasis on how the body occupies its space with an energetic tension. In everything that I create, I am always experimenting to add a layer of the ineffable which I hope would captivate and provoke a viewer.
