I specialize is large format paintings and drawings in a wide range of figurative and landscape subjects.  

My figure work is developed through a loose, yet accurate process based on my studied understanding of human anatomy coupled with strong composition embodying structural integrity, proportion, balance, and expression.  

My landscape, seascape, and cityscape paintings are the outgrowth of my experiments with strong composition, vivid and neutralized color ways, and dramatic value arrangements. I paint with directness and a commitment to thoughtful design demonstrated by my appreciation for the merger of the natural and the built environments. I have told my university and college painting and drawing students and professional design seminar attendees... "Know your subject and know your color choices".  

My original artworks are represented in permanent corporate, hospitality and educational collections in the United States and abroad; and dozens of private collections nationwide.
