As a child raised in Pennsylvania, I grew up loving the landscape around me. Living on a farm gave me a daily connection to nature, and nature became a big influence in my life. My father would bring stacks of old paper from work and I would cover the blank sides with scenes in crayon and paint, beginning my life as an artist.  

After my BFA I worked as an illustrator and later relocated to Colorado where I continued to work in pastels and oils exploring my own work.  The atmosphere, the expansive skies, the brilliant sun-drenched winter mornings, and the far-reaching vistas of Colorado are an inspiration for my paintings.
