I have been an artist and art teacher for many years. I started my art career as a graphic designer for C.U. Painting and teaching art have been my vocation and avocation for 40 some years. I have painted plein aire (on location painting) landscapes and gardens of the Boulder county area for many years. Color, form, and composition are my primary passions, usually painted in an impressionist manner. I paint in many media, schlepping my pastels, watercolors, and oils from Chautauqua Park to Longmont and other Boulder County sites where I may be seen giving an art lesson or two. A member of Boulder Arts and Crafts, for many years, as well as a founding member of NOBO, and a teacher for LifeLong Learning, I have been part of the fabric of Boulder County where my husband and I raised our daughter and I am now watching my grandson grow. I now live in Boulder County near Longmont where the views are spectacular and I don't do quite as much schlepping of my materials these days.
