Patrick Mallek
Patrick Mallek holds a BFA in Sculpture from Eastern Michigan University and has been a working artist in Boulder since the 1990's. He's an award-winning filmmaker, animator, illustrator, sculptor, writer, and painter. He is a member of the NoBo Arts District artists and owns a gallery in the NoBo Creative District. He's been accepted twice in the Juice Exhibition by the Denver Ad Club and has also exhibited in the Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design faculty show. His films have screened at SXSW, BIFF, Slamdance, Kid's First Film Festival, and other notable film festivals. Professionally, he works as a full-time professor at RMCAD (Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design) teaching 2D animation. He also works with private students in illustration, painting, animation, and filmmaking.
