I am an artist and designer. My work exists in a place where art, craft, and design collide. Creating with one's hands bears a similarity to speaking a language. Working in different materials and techniques is like speaking in different languages, bringing the understanding of design down through the hands. I can speak in languages of wood, metal, paints, other materials. But in the shaping of hot iron is where I sing.
Using the techniques and ancient knowledge of blacksmithing opens up endless possibilities of shape and form. By combining modern technologies along with ancient technique, limitless opportunities of design are possible.
