I am a painter. I generally work in oil and occasionally in gouache. Painting tracks my experience of being. What I notice in a landscape. The organization of a still life. Painting places me in a tradition occupied by other painters. Giorgio Morandi, Zurbaran, Richard Diebenkorn, Vanessa Bell, Cezanne, Ann Gale, Alberto Giacometti on and on. A tradition of observational painters which I aspire to join.
