As an artist and educator, I feel privileged to hold art as a central part of my life. Making art in my studio is an opportunity to think, experiment and reflect. Some days hours go by before I step away from my work and look forward to the next day when I can continue a piece or pursue a new idea. I learn something from each work of art I make. After many years, painting continues to bring me joy.
