I used to believe realism was the pinnacle of artistic mastery-- the ability to recreate the world exactly as it appears. But I became more interested in expressing how I experience the world rather than showing what we already see.

My work uses bold, unexpected color palettes and directional movement to draw you into the painting. Each piece is designed as a portal-- an immersive experience that evokes expansion, presence, and possibility.

Influenced by my background in somatic work, I also create custom pieces that act as calibration tools within a space. I believe environment [particularly home and office where we spend so much of our time] is one of the most powerful and underutilized forces shaping how we think, feel, and show up in the world.

At its core, my work is a reminder of the miracle of being alive—in a human body, on a rock hurtling through space, getting to have our moment to moment experience.
