My bright colored abstract oil paintings are a reflection of how I feel each day. I meditate before I paint, select the colors that mirror my feelings and begin. I believe in healing through art thus inspiration comes from the emotions that exist at the moment thus eliminating planning, thinking, expectation, judgment and control. I accept what comes so my paintings can be very different as I move through a period in time. I do not title my paintings as each person sees something different in an abstract painting. A title can lead the viewer to see a certain image and once seen, it is not forgotten. Viewers can then create their own title and make a personal connection. We live in a world of technology where we want immediate answers. In contrast, it's possible for untitled art to be observed and contemplated often providing greater meaning.
