My impressionistic landscape watercolors capture those moments when I pause during a grueling hike, climb, or bike ride—when I look up, take a breath, and realize I’m surrounded by beauty and color.
I use vivid colors to capture light and movement, drawing the viewer into the painting and offering them a moment to stop and breathe. Layering soft yet vibrant hues, I let the watercolors swirl, splash, and blend in their magical, unpredictable way. I love to use loose brush strokes so that a painting that looks realistic from a distance becomes abstract, expressive line work up close.
