Barbara Dobbs
An artist since the age of 12, Barbara’s art reveals the energy of Spirit seeing the depth beyond physical perception.
She grew up in Norfolk, England and for 35 years was as a landscape architect/landscape ecologist painting the land with plants before becoming a full-time water media artist. Her art reflects her love for the land and all nature (except maybe mosquitoes)!
Known for her bold vibrant stylized and abstract paintings, her intention is to create art that inspires, moves, and nourishes those who view it.
Initially self-taught, she has also studied with internationally recognized artists including Sterling Edwards and Ken Goldman.
Her art is on permanent display in City of Boulder offices and has received numerous awards and acceptance into national juried shows including the Transparent Watercolor Society of America online show, Louisville’s National Fine Art Show and the Tubac AZ National Show.
