The process of adding paint to paper is a sacred act, and my deep intention is to create art that inspires, nourishes, and brings joy to all those who view it.
In both my stylized watercolors of nature or pure abstract, I love the fluidity and unpredictability of the medium and its vibrant colors. I mostly start with wet paint on wet paper, allowing for the unexpected.
The use of color is core to my intention so that color can transmit its energy. For example, it is said that green promotes healing, while blue generates peace, well-being, and serenity, and orange dynamic sustaining strength.
Capturing the light is all, both the physical light and the light beyond physical perception.
