Michael Hamers
When I started making fine art again after a 20-year absence, I went back to the old tools that I was familiar and very comfortable with. Before CAD systems and computers, I created a lot of industrial and commercial illustrations with the airbrush. In 2013, I started making art of things of beauty — my subject matter has been nature, flowers, and the female form using watercolor and gouache, sometimes combining paint with watercolor-based colored pencil drawings.
I also now shoot a lot of Fine Art Photography. Much of it is nature, but I also shoot in many other "styles": Abstract, Minimalistic, found objects, "unintended" art, and more.
