I have two main avenues of art: fine art and sculpture-related art in the form of stuffed animals. I’ve practiced art in Boulder since middle school and was lucky to grow up taking private art lessons from Molly Davis. I have since built on those basics to create my own fantastical realism style. My connection to nature is the basis of all of my art and is now the foundation for my “Spirit Familiars Tarot Deck,” a spirit-animal themed deck inspired by the original Rider-Waite Tarot deck imagery and symbolism.
My newer, more unique area of art are my stuffed animals, or “Sweet Beasties.” They are creative, cuddly, edgy toys which have arisen from my love of cute plushy animals combined with my wild creativity and wide range of inspiration. I design and sew each toy by hand, making sure each detail is perfectly suited for each little Beastie. I have many plans for these toys and can’t wait to expand my Sweet Beasties line!
