We all have stories to tell, from the simple to very complex, from humorous to touching, from burdens on your heart to your passions and joys.
I visually share my life stories through fabric and stitching, color, texture and shape. I dye the fabric, paint it, cut it, reassemble it, stitch it, embroider it and add designs to it. I urge the cloth to speak, creating an image, a mood, a visual language.
My art invites you to a shared space where your story and experiences can resonate with what you are seeing. You bring your own story to this viewing which creates a connection between us, one of beauty, wonder, imagination, or inspiration.
