All photography is the capture of light and shadow. Normally we capture light and shadow and color at 500th of a second. All of these pieces are at a much longer element of time. Some of these are just a few seconds while others were captured over more than five minutes.
All of these images are captured as one frame in the camera. There are no compositions and any manipulation after the shot is only to adjust color from the Camera Raw file and to clarify the concept.
As a photographer, I love to play with various light sources and see how I can mix and manipulate them to achieve cleaver and pleasing outcomes.
