I use beautiful ropes, fabrics, ribbons, and vintage buttons, threads and recycled leathers to create one-of-a-kind artworks. Bowls, baskets, table-mats and totes are artworks and practical vessels all in one. I’m inspired by the rhythms of layers and textures in nature. This creates balance and interest-grounding us with beauty, creative energies, and the connection of nature to our lives-fostering, peace and community. I see these physical materials acting as layers of “ paint,” evolving into wonder and surprise for both the viewer and artist.
