I have spent my life immersed in art—first as an art teacher and now as a full-time artist. My current work focuses primarily on acrylic painting, where I explore bright color, and playful imagination. Many of my paintings carry a joyful, whimsical quality. I love to explore expressive color relationships within my paintings. I paint because it brings me joy, and I hope that joy carries into the spaces where my work lives. My work has been described as boldly beautiful, which is a perfect reflection of my work. I create paintings that feel both playful and intentional. My work is rooted in curiosity as I enjoy exploring a wide range of subject matters. Most of my paintings begin with a feeling rather than plan, allowing the creative process to unfold naturally.
