COMMUNITY PUBLIC ART

Our Public Art program works with other local organizations to bring murals and other art to life in popular public spaces and in neighborhoods around Boulder.

This past year, with support from the Rea Foundation and in collaboration with And-Art Space, we worked with students from Boulder High to bring three projects to life. Students learned how to wheat-paste and installed a temporary mural on Alfalfa’s Market at Broadway and Arapahoe. They also designed and painted a mural on a bike path underpass and turned a used Prius, donated by Boulder Hybrids, into an art car that makes a  statement about rain forest ecology.
