Art is an expression of passion. For me that passion is my love for nature and the wildlife in it. Most of my sculptures are portrayals of the personalities I imagine in the animals that I encounter in everyday life on my farm where my studio is located. There I am surrounded by the natural beauty of the land, and am constantly inspired by wildlife and the subtle changing beauty of the farm. My equestrian sculptures are symbolic of emotions that I felt during and after significant events in my life. Lost wax is my method and I am self taught. I cast my first piece during the summer of 2016.

During the isolation of Covid, I began working in encaustic and am adapting to the freedom of creating abstract art in contrast to the precision of my sculpture.
