Arabella Tattershall works from her studio in Longmont Colorado.  She has found a new passion and expression in the art of welding. Inspired by the human form and nature, her signature sculptures are steel dresses, torsos & shoes, created from cut, hammered & shaped steel leaves and various mixed metals. Prior to this new career move, Arabella spent years behind a sewing machine creating soft sculpture for corporations and a line of fleece outerwear for babies and young children called AB Seas Funwear. Creating garments and pattern making were key to her success in the early years and naturally spilled over into this new medium of metal.  

Fascinated with the idea of bending, shaping, weaving, riveting, sewing and welding mixed metals, Arabella continues to explore these combinations of construction with hopes of telling the viewer a story…of line, shape, balance and possibility.
