I create paintings reflecting current events by distilling a complex political issue into a single, potent image. Its purpose is to encourage dialogue and action. My process for ideas is keeping a notebook open and the news on (or Dylan) jotting down one liner quotes. From there an image catapults onto the canvas. The mediums used for creating these images are acrylic paint on textured hardboard.
