My paintings capture the grandeur of the Western Landscape with color, texture and a sense of grand scale through the use of atmospheric and linear perspective. I use a palette knife to maximize texture and a limited palette of harmonious colors to create paintings that are cohesive, vibrant, and expressive. Composition is key to any successful painting, challenging the rules while pushing their limits allows me to create unique perspectives that draw the viewer into the painting and keep them engaged.
