My current work consists of colorful, semi-abstract paintings, monoprints and mixed media pieces from a number of different series and themes. The work may be done in acrylic or oil, and sometimes experimental printmaking, to achieve the finished piece. They may be completed in a session or two, while some may be in the studio for up to a year to be tweaked and worked on until finished.

I have always painted. After completing undergraduate work in Art and Education in Colorado, I went on to pursue a graduate degree at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I was a resident painter at The Anderson Ranch in Snowmass, along with several painting and printmaking workshops there, and at the Ballinglen Art Center in Ireland.
