I spent thirteen years living in Japan assimilating the culture and artistic traditions while I developed my own skills and aesthetics involved with mastering Japanese ceramics. During this time I established my own studio, built a wood fired kiln and exhibited my work at prestigious galleries throughout Japan, including those in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. I continue to be guided and by those years of formative influence while continuing my work in ceramics and cast bronnze in my studio and showroom at my home in Boulder.
