I grew up in western Colorado in a family of artists and musicians. I am primarily self taught but I spent a lot of time observing the artists around me.

I am primarily an oil painter but I also have done beadwork, enameling, metal work, jewelry and working with textiles.

I am currently exploring different styles of painting. I have always been a detail oriented, realistic painter. I am now exploring loosening my style and have been painting more abstract.
