Studio 22 is all about the everyday. I create art which reveals what
we already know. My goal is for you to smile, ponder, remember,
identify, question, and then come closer for another look.

As a mixed media artist, I uncover new patterns and unexpected
beauty within materials not typically thought of in artistic terms. I find
both inspiration and materials in a waste basket or newspaper
stack, a junk yard or a hardware store shelf. Building with object,
color and shape the way a poet uses words; I invite you to celebrate
what you otherwise might pass by.

When I move into the realm of functional art, I elevate the mundane
to pedestal status. Solving the dilemmas of our everyday lives in
fresh and unexpected ways is what creativity is all about for me. I
hope to bring fresh eyes, a clever spirit and a big heart to the artistic
process.
