Open Studios 2008 application went online Saturday, March 1. We use CaFÉ™ (www.callforentry.org), a Web-based service that allows artists to apply to art shows and other calls for entry. As an artist applying to the 2008 Open Studios, you will need to open up a free account where you can upload up to 100 digital images for free. You can do this at any time. You can open up an account at any time.
The deadline for applying to the 2008 Open Studios is May 1.
We look for artists who make some portion of their income from their art and are pursuing art as a profession. 25% of the jury scoring is based on this and the other 75% is based on your work. Your full time studio must be in the geography we cover which is basically the City of Boulder and some areas just outside. Check out the Open Studios map to see if your studio location is eligible.
